Well they did it again tonight 09-22-2011 they voted to let a
developer plant crops on a piece of land that just last year they spent thousands of dollars to make him stop farming it. Some
of the board members did vote no and I applaud them for their service and commitment to the village. But the board members
that run saying they will be better stewards of our money and then waste this money like they do need to be punished.
Rob Baxter is one of these board members that should be kicked off the board at out the first chance that we get. He
votes no to buying dispensers for the bathrooms but through away money in this way. Why do we need these people in this position
of authority when it is obvious they are not representing the people of the village. When they vote they vote no to spending
$2000.00 and question the reasoning for it but spend 10s of thousands and don't bat an eye. I did talk to Sue Petty and
she did explain why she voted for it in the end. She did vote against the amended motion that for some reason was done first,
which makes no sense. Denis sole also voted against it. But the rest of the board members did this village a great injustice.
SHAME ON THESE PEOPLE FOR WASTING THE TAX PAYERS MONEYRemember this in the next election and get competent people in office that represent the people
and not themselves and the developers!!!!!!
I am going to start transmitting
a local very low powered radio information system on 101.3 FM that will give the peopel in town a little more information
on the village and the Kinnikinnick School District that I am a member of now.
There was nothing wrong with the pay they were getting but they think they deserve more. The board that
was there before and reduced the pay new what they were doing and had at least been on the board long enough to know what
their job was.
Another year and lets get ride of some
of these people its obvious they don't care about the Village. I guess that is why they raised our taxes this year that way
they could give themselves a raise.
Annexation Agreement between Mr.
Petry and the Village of Roscoe
2008-05-03 Most Village residents know little about what is really occurring in the Village. Most of the news that you
get is from news papers or TV, and we all know that they only report about half of the truth and tend to make a mountain out
of a mole hill. If you know how to twist the words and only report half truths people can make all kinds of assumptions.
With this site I hope to keep you informed and updated about what is really happening in the village.
I'm a life long residence of the Village and worked as a police officer in Roscoe for 23 years. I retired from the police
department in 2001 after having a brain tumor removed in 1998. I served 8 years on the Kinnikinnick School board and 8
years as a Trustee for the village.
